VR OS (2015)
I did this project during my master's degree. Above is the final video explaining the concepts, and there's a corresponding writeup.
It introduced the idea of content zones that determined where you should put things based on the cross section of human ergonomics and display properties.
It also includes some ideas for volumetric button affordances with hand tracking, taking natural inspiration from the surface of water.
Near the end is a graphics sequence suggesting a winding user journey through a series of use cases.
