First, push play and then pause to get the buttons for playback options. Choose 1080p or 720p on the player for it to look decent. If your computer is slower, it will have a hard time playing the larger sizes, though.

If you don’t have glasses and want to watch it in 2D or a different 3D way, click the button that says “3D” on the player and choose the top option that says “(change…)”. Then you can choose what way to view it.

For 2D, I would recommend choosing the “no glasses” option, and then choosing “left only” when you come back to the player. If you are good at the Magic Eye books, you can choose the “no glasses” option and then choose “parallel” when you come back to the video.
