If I remember correctly, I started making videos with our family’s camcorder when I was 11 or 12 because my older brother did it and I wanted to be cool like him (You can watch some here). Naturally, my stars were my toys because I only had one friend and I wasn’t allowed to use my brother’s action figures. I couldn’t edit so I would rewind the camera and stop it where the next shot was supposed to start and my titles were written on paper. I also played on Spiderman Cartoon Maker which may have had an influence on editing but I guess I played a lot of computer games. After moving to Utah from Las Vegas, I took the video class every year of High School with my friends and later got an Associate degree in Applied Science from the Digital Media department of Utah Valley University. I worked on a few shows at a local TV station (KJZZ14) for a year, taught English in China for 5 months, and continue to do video production as my job. I own Aperture Science LLC.
